Prevalence of Gestational Diabetes in India by Individual Socioeconomic, Demographic, and Clinical Factors
First-Author Paper
This was a paper that I co-authored with Epidemiologist Dr. Daniel J. Corsi of the CHEO Research Institute at the University of Ottawa. The paper was accepted by JAMA Network Open and published in November 2020. The paper provides a state-level overview of the prevalence of gestational diabetes, taken from the National Family Health Survey (NFHS) from Jan 2015 to Dec 2016. A multivariate logistic regression was conducted, controlling for socioeconomic, demographic, and clinical factors, to identify the strongest associations to increased/decreased prevalence of gestational diabetes.
The paper has been cited 67 times and has been viewed 15,000+ since publication.
